Some may have wondered where I have disappeared to this week- well, in Canada it is the March Break and I am off and so is my son, Austin! This usually means I get TONNES of scrapbooking done as we live in a cold part of the country….
BUT
we have had gorgeous spring weather- days where the temperature has allowed us to even wear shorts (well, not me but the younger ones!)
With all that going on it has been a busy week- here are some highlights and YES
TODAY I AM CRAFTING AND CREATING SO A NEW POST WILL COME SOON!!
thanks to my loyal readers who are missing me- I appreciate your loyalty and comments to kick my butt into gear!
I started this week with a preview for my customers on CTMH’s new Studio J online design studio that is set to launch to customers next month- I set it up on my TV screen and showed everyone how fast, simple and easy it is to create layouts!! They loved it!!
I was then treated by my lovely friend Sarah B- to a motorcross show in Toronto- three little boys and tons of dirtbikes doing crazy stunts- we had a blast but the big city can be a scary place and we were sure glad to get home in one piece!
Our last big event was to Shaw’s Farm for the maple syrup festival- now if you are not Canadian or live somewhere that does not have sugar maple’s then you miss out on this- it is the BEST tradition!! Every spring we go see how they make maple syrup, take a wagon ride through the bush and have a yummy breakfast with fresh syrup right at the farm!! I LOVE IT!!
Austin asked to go bowling- the bowling alley in Orillia is old school- we still have to calculate our own scores using math- I KNOW!! but we had a great family time (even if I was embarrased that my 6 year old beat me in bowling)!

…and that only took us through half of the week!!
Phew- staycations are just as busy as going away…
