This lovely card was created using the Key to my Heart Paper and stamp set (the special for January). The phrase is just stamped but the heart is created using chalk popping. For this technique you will need the new spring chalks, a versamark stamp pad and a cheap cotton swab.

Place the image you want to chalk pop on your block and stamp it into the versamark stamp pad. Place the stamp on the piece of paper you wish to use (just like with a regular stamped image).

Quickly take the cotton swab and place it in the chalk colour of your choice (for this project I used tulip). Rub the cotton swab over the versamark image – for this project I applied more to one side and lightened the colour as I moved along to the opposite side. Then you are ready to assemble your project!
