This is a very simple card I made a few weeks ago. I used our new Newsprint Rub-ons and our Kraft paper- also some of the Blue ribbon assortment and one of the Lucky level 2 embellishments.I started my background with the intend of covering the whole front of the card but soon realized that would take FOREVER! So I ended like this and really liked the effect. I think it will make a cute birth announcement for a little boy!
Now I have to admit something- I had baby on the brain the day I made this because we are expecting (after 7 longs years of waiting for things to work out correctly!!). Currently I am 15 weeks pregnant and things are going pretty well (better since the 1st trimester is over with all of its fun). Now I have one son and would love a baby girl- but something tells me it is a boy- hence this card! We do plan to find out what we are having on April 25th so stay tuned to see a special project to announce that!

Congratulations! What exciting news! I have two boys and I’ll tell you what. Just as much as I would love having a little girl, I love my two boys together and couldn’t imagine it any other way. So whatever you are blessed with will end up being just perfect.
